Drivers at the Chateau and the Magnificent Seven Competition

Drivers at the Chateau is a special gathering of independently owned high-interest driver level cars displayed on the Atlanta Concours show field on Saturday September 30th from 9:00 to 2:00. This is an opportunity for car enthusiasts to meet with other collectors and to participate in all of the weekend show field activities including the Ride and Drive Experience, Manufacturer’s Row, Merchant Walk, Restoration Center, Consignment Corner and Food Pavilion including a breakfast menu (yes, we heard you loud and clear)!

Unique to the Atlanta Concours weekend,  the “Magnificent Seven Competition” will be making its own debut during our Saturday’s “Drivers at the Chateau.” Judges will choose seven exceptional cars from the show field to participate in Sunday’s Concours d’Elegance within their own special class. The ‘Magnificent Seven’ is the first program of its kind offering a concours role to non-concours-ready vehicles.  “It’s a unique opportunity to grow involvement for car aficionados who may not be car collectors in the usual concours-sense but still are enthusiasts that take deep pride in the vehicles they own and restore themselves,” said Keith Martin, 2017 head judge.

“We’ll be looking for seven exceptional vehicles that stand out based on unique attributes and offer those vehicles and their owners the chance to publicly showcase their car within an authentic and highly regarded setting on the Sunday Concours show field.”  Additionally, all attendees of Saturday’s event will have the chance to win a Weekend General Admission ticket to the 2018 Concours by matching their own seven choices prior to those named by the officials.

Complimentary Lubricant Testing provided by Vehicle DNA

Our strategic partner, Vehicle DNA will provide complimentary lubricant testing and analysis for a limited number of registered vehicles at this event.  Four instruments are used to measure a lubricant’s physical and chemical properties.  These instruments measure the viscosity and chemical composition compared to manufacturer’s specifications.  The test determines  fluid cleanliness and identifies contaminants such as water, anti-freeze, or wear metals.  Their proprietary software analyzes the data produced by these instruments and generates a report summarizing the component and lubricant’s condition.

Register today to take advantage of this free testing at the show  ($75.00 value)

Please register your vehicle for this event below. Only registered vehicles will receive the free testing.   You must purchase a General Admission or VIP ticket and a Car Placement Fee to participate in this event.
