This is a Cadillac Series 60 from 1936, it was a new series for the ’36 model year, the Series 60 was the brainchild of the new incoming Cadillac management.

One of the most important design features of the exterior of this Cadillac is that featured design concept work from the emerging genius of Harley Earl, who would later be responsible for General Motors great success after WWII;  the new look featured a tall, elegant grille and a split V-shaped windshield. Powered by a 322 cu in engine it produced 125 horse power.

The Series 60 immediately became the company’s best-selling model, making up half of all Cadillacs sold that year.
